One of the top three reasons people give to nonprofits in the United States is trust in the organization’s responsible financial management. Do you have basic practices in place to give donors this confidence? This lab examines three areas a congregational leader can improve with bitesize steps: 1) Council Policies and Actions; 2) Cashflow Checks and Balances; and 3) Transparency. Tangible examples will be offered including take-home documents for implementing improvements in the congregation(s) you serve. Our session will be led by Pr. Niklaus Schillack, who holds a B.B.A. in Accounting.
